Why sensory play?
Sensory play is how little ones make sense of the world. Touching, squishing, pouring and listening builds the brain pathways children need for language, maths and learning, and the Early Years Foundation Phase puts play right at the heart of development in Wales.
It's also just brilliant fun, and you get to join in without worrying about the mess at home.

Meet the head dragon
Made by a mum who loves mess
For as long as I can remember I've loved sensory and outdoor play, and watching children light up as they explore new textures. While on maternity leave with my twins, I noticed there weren't enough safe spaces for little ones to explore, especially in the school holidays. So I made one!
I come from a big family and have years of nursery and babysitting experience. Sensory Dragons is all about making every child and every grown-up feel welcome, whatever their background, language or ability.
